It's almost been 2 years now since my interest of photography suddenly came to me. I don't quite now where it came from (there might have been some creative longing dorment all along), but viewing loads of beautiful pictures online must have been a big inspiration.

My late father had an interest in picturetaking too, so inheriting his old camera probably triggered one of the early sparks too. There's also my hobbyist colleague who showed me his sweet DSLR and explained some basic terms.

I've had so much fun experimenting since. It's been a blast, but I've had constant self-doubts at the same time. Probably more so since I began uploading shots to flickr for anyone to see. I think the doubts did (and still does) me good though, and sharing the pictures made it even more enjoyable. So now I've joined this community as well, to add mainly my favourite pics and browse more of other peoples photos / artwork.
